Melanie's debut furniture line, the Kenmare Collection, is built on contrast. An oxidized ambrosia maple cabinet meets black white oak fluted doors, with a burnished bronze shelf and pulls, a blackened steel base, and burnished bronze adjustable feet. The result is graphic and tactile, a mid-century sensibility reworked in richer materials. The collection comprises a credenza, a nightstand, and a round wood-framed mirror with a reeded half-panel. Every piece is fully customizable in finish and size.
The Brooke Collection
Room Furniture & Lighting
The Brooke Collection moves in a softer, quieter direction. Pieces are crafted in white oak, rounded at every corner and set on curved, scalloped plinths finished with a thin band of brass at the floor. The nightstand and coffee table wear antique brass hardware, available in a range of finishes, and the sofa, with its plump, pill-shaped arms and cushions, is offered in COM. Like Kenmare, the collection is fully customizable. Where Kenmare is structured and contrast-driven, Brooke is sculptural and calm. The collection comprises a sofa, a coffee table, and a nightstand, and arrives soon at Room in Tribeca.
